Re: Coronation Street
Not sure if I'm a fan exactly but I've watched it for a good many years 'cause the missus has it on.
Re: Coronation Street
Spoiler alert: Corrie anniversary disaster revealed
'Coronation Street' will celebrate its 50th anniversary later this year with the programme's biggest-ever stunt.
The storyline will see the viaduct at the end of the street collapse, sending a tram crashing onto the famous cobbles.

Re: Coronation Street
yes, I love them much to Johns dismay lol. I've grown up with coronation street though, started the year I was born
Re: Coronation Street
I love Corrie, it's like a part of daily life isn't it and I hope it's always there on our screens forever! lol my husband hates it but gets on doing something while the soaps are on then it's his turn to watch whatever he wants...usually Cops!hahaha!!!!!
Re: Coronation Street
I would'nt miss Corrie for the world, it's ace, where else can you get a serious storyline running side by side with a comic one?I don't think i ever laughed so much a couple of episodes ago, when John Stape was running around like a headless chicken trying to dispose of Colin Fishwicks body. My sides were aching by the end of the episode. My husband was in knots as well. I hope Corrie lasts forever and ever.

Re: Coronation Street
If all the soaps were off the telly and only Eastenders remained, i stil would'nt watch it. I like a laugh and if you were slightly down when you started, you would be downright depressed by the end of it. Never saw a more depressing programme on the telly in my life.

Re: Coronation Street
I could take that Sally Webster and shove her head in a bucket of water and hold it there, now she's distraught about Sophie, could she not have let the lass know BEFORE she ran away that her being Gay wasn't the end of the world. Stupid woman.

Re: Coronation Street
Sally has always been a bit of a snob really, no wonder Sophie ran away after the comments she was making about no dungarees in this house etc.
Read somewhere yesterday that they're killing Jack Duckworth off after all. I know he was going out of it but they'd said at first they were going to keep it open for future episodes. Seems he's going to die of cancer later in the year, before the tram disaster. Vera's also going to appear as a ghost in his last ever episode, will be another tearjerker

Re: Coronation Street
I think having him die of Cancer and seeing Vera, is a much better farewell for Jack, after all the years he's been in Corrie, he deserves a departure that will long be remembered, much better that dying in the Tram crash, which was the original plot for him, i'm glad they changed their minds folks, he deserved better.

Re: Coronation Street
I'll need tissues as well Jody, always do when something sad like that happens.
Do you think Steve and Becky will end up bringing up her sisters little boy?
Do you think Steve and Becky will end up bringing up her sisters little boy?
Re: Coronation Street
According to all the press i've read on corrie lately, Steve offers her a large sum of money to disappear and leave her wee boy with Becky and him, have'nt found out if she accepts or not but i'm sure she will. Mind you, i don't know what Steve is thinking about because whenever the money runs out, she'll be back for more. Heck she flogged Steves bike and within days of getting cash for it, she was skint again.

Re: Coronation Street
apparently Davids gonna kick off again next week. Looking at the tv paper it says that Tinas in danger when she rejects his advances, hes a nasty piece of work isnt he?
Re: Coronation Street
The papers said a couple of weeks back that David rapes Tina and he also runs Graham over, don't know which one is first and or if the attacks are together or at different times. After what he did to his Mother, i think the little scrote is capable of abything.
