What do you think of cosmetic surgery? Would you have work done on yourself to make yourself look younger or maybe to improve how you look?

Well Kay, i'm kinda old for that now but i know in my heart of hearts i certainly would not have any kind of cosmetic surgery. I'm a great believer in natural beauty, we are what we are and make up can help you if you want to be more attractive. When you have surgery after surgery, where does it all end? Eventually you must need to look back at old photographs to remind yourself what you really do look like. Oh i know we all do that anyway but change on the outside must ultimately change what you are on the inside as well. That's how snobs are born and you know what we all think of them. It takes lots and lots of cash too, so why not use it on beautiful clothes and a beautician, at least that way when you go to bed at night you will be the real you and not a plastic Barbie like doll. whistle

I'm 62 this year and I look tired even though I'm not so I would certainly have my eyes done IF I WASN'T SUCH A COWARD! Very Happy it's my eyes that are making me look worn out with the lids becoming droopy.
I don't blame anyone (who dares to have it done) for having something done to make them feel better about themselves, I don't mean this ridiculous Joan Rivers surgery, she looks as though she's in a wind tunnel, but to have a bit of skin taken from the upper lids would be great for me.
[Oh and a bit of thickener in the lips which have thinned out and the sad droopy mouth lifted hahahaha!

I once read that a filmstar of the 50s [can't remember who] would tie her hair up on the top of her head so tight that it would lift her face then pull a wig on.....instant facelift lol
Might give it a go ha ha!!

I always use that as a funny.
Yesterday in the Dallas Morning News there were two hilarious comments about Meg Ryan and Melanie Griffth looking like Ms. Potato Heads with mismatched features!

I would never consider cosmetic surgery as in my estimation age will always catch up on you.

I have been watching "The Ugly Face Of Beauty" on channel 4, where cosmetic surgery has gone wrong or has been carried out in unrecognised clinics etc, some of the scenes are shocking!

I have tried them all, even expensive creams that promise to work lol the only thing that'll work is a half inch of extra skin removed from them ....I may tie my hair tightly up in a bun lol

I'd reply if I could stop laughing.. just a mo...

I was offered treatment but thought about it hard and said no thank you.
what are the good recovery percentages?

Someone, no names , said to me " you were a lovely vessel but I think you cargo shifted' ( said by no oil painting!)

I couldn't be angry for laughing, so dear ladies I guess it dropped into the hold..I have laughter lines that will do me! sunny
