Travel Insurance
When you need to get travel insurance, do you buy the company insurance or do you look around and get it cheaper?
Re: Travel Insurance
I have the account at my bank where the travel insurance is a perk of the account, reward account for a set fee a month
I think Post Office is a very competitive choice for travel insurance though as used them beforehand and never beat their quote

Re: Travel Insurance
I've used the Post Office and also found it quite good. I have a pre existing condition which I have to declare and have to shop around to get a good price. I was once quoted a thousand pound!!!! more than the holiday cost lol
It usually costs around £150 each for me and John, he has to pay the same as me because if anything were to happen and I had to be flown home he'd have to travel with me...
Isn't it free with the E11 is it called? for Europe.

Re: Travel Insurance
No that is not the same as your travel insurance,
"The European Health Insurance Card
Inside the European Economic Area (EEA), free or reduced-cost emergency treatment is available to UK patients with a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC)"
Very similar, but always take out travel insurance also
